In a manner similar to the Road Warriors described before, if Konnor said that the duo "snacked on danger and dined on death," well, that makes sense then why their matches don't take a long time. Or, imagine Viktor telling JBL that, like the APA, The Ascension specialize in "breaking necks and cashing checks." The nature of these comments could go a long way to giving the duo some creative freedom insofar as when they wrestle longer matches, giving their opponents a place where they have a fighting chance, or giving the announcers something to hang their hats on when describing why the duo are so dominant other than "hey, look at those moves." Added dimensions in character development are important. The slightest twist is what can make Rocky Maivia into The Rock, or what could make The Ascension into a frightening and physically dominant tag team with the momentum to engender major crowd support, carry main event level feuds, and be significant contributing factors as competitors in the landscape of WWE.
