5 Major Booking Steps For Daniel Bryan's AEW Debut

1. He Uses The Final Countdown

Tony Khan has previously paid for the rights to use Where Is My Mind by the Pixies and Tarzan Boy by Baltimora as Orange Cassidy and Jungle Boy's entrance themes, respectively, as well as banging songs for video packages.

Why, if the opportunity presented itself, would TK pass on Europe's The Final Countdown for Bryan Danielson?

It's the missing piece to bring back the Danielson of old. A Mikey Rukus rendition of the theme would no doubt be a bop, however, there is simply nothing like the original 1986 hit. It rendered deafening singalongs in ROH venues, with Danielson standing atop the turnbuckles to sing the remainder of the tune. That's the sign of a wrestler who actively enjoys their entrance music; this wasn't your average production that WWE's post-CFO$ music team is churning out.

His Flight Of The Valkyries variant that WWE created was fine. It got a pop, you recognised who it was, and it remains an alright song. It's not quite enough, though; a wrestler of Bryan Danielson's stature needs that extra oomph to their entrance.

Seriously, though, just picture fifteen thousand AEW diehards providing backing vocals to Europe's hit song as Danielson enters on his debut. That, in itself, is reason enough for TK to buy - or at least attempt to buy - the rights to the song.
