1. The Superstar Shake-Up Is Getting Shaken Up

Mere months after the FIRST-EVER Superstar Shake-Up - there's a sad reason why they couldn't just call it a damn draft - WWE is rumoured to be considering shaking things up, again.

There's no real storyline basis for this, but then, there wasn't the first time. Vince McMahon simply decided that storylines had gotten stale. Talents debuted on their new shows as if manatees had removed balls with their names on from a tank - which might explain why The Miz and Dean Ambrose resumed their feud on Mondays instead of Tuesdays.

It's all a bit counterproductive. If WWE proceeds with this idea, the company is essentially acknowledging that the product isn't very good, and that much of 2017 has been an abject creative failure. It has, but you don't acknowledge that. Instead of working with the tools at their disposal, necessity being the mother of invention and all that, creative is hitting the reset (panic) button.

Maybe Jinder Mahal will get switched to RAW for the express purpose of getting Roman Reigns over as a babyface - which will of course result in the Modern Day Maharaja receiving ironic cheers. Maybe Bray Wyatt will return to SmackDown, become relevant again, and then relinquish his aura in the dumbest supernatural matches imaginable. Maybe they've realised that Monday nights are disproportionately more star-powered than Tuesdays.

They'll probably stiff SmackDown again, let's face it.
