World Of Sport's Justin Sysum drew the ire of several folks within British wrestling this week when he penned an "open letter" to it on Twitter.

It was a fun old row what ensued.

In it, Sysum bemoaned WWE's new stranglehold over the British scene, and promised to flourish outside of the NXT umbrella. Making incredibly reasonable points (but with an hilariously naff watermark and self-serving slant), Sysum didn't really endear himself to the British Strong Style triumvirate of Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven in particular. All three blasted him for buying into these "rumours". Conspicuously, all three, having starred on the TakeOver stage, have benefitted the most from all this. Sort of. Last week, Trent Seven booked his own Loser Leaves Town match to own the smarks. WWE literally booted him out of his own promotion, and he's still denying the "rumours"?

"We're not owned, we're not owned by WWE" British Strong Style continue to insist as they slowly shrink and transform into corncobs.

Moustache Mountain's Trent Seven sold his knee so brilliantly, in that classic Undisputed Era tag bout on the July 11 NXT, that he convinced the most irritating crowd of all time to shut the f**k up and fear for his very career - but nobody is buying this.
