5 Most Insane Things Happening In Wrestling Right Now (Dec 8)

3. People Really Are The Worst

It's not been a great year for Kevin Owens.

After performing in the best segment of the year, the Festival of Friendship, he was awarded with a demotion, which marred the buzz around his WrestleMania grudge match with Chris Jericho - which Vince McMahon then b*llocked him for, even though he did far more than Owens and Jericho to create a sense of apathy about the whole thing. He was then demoted as an anti-American heel because Jinder bloody Mahal was somehow considered a better fit. A promising programme with AJ Styles followed, the promise of which was ruined by a series of awful layouts designed to build towards Owens Vs. Shane McMahon. These days, Owens gets beat on SmackDown, or gets beat down on SmackDown, or both.

And now, some pathetic specimen has hacked his wife's Instagram account to accuse him of cheating in an attempt to disrupt the guy's marriage. Pathetic, is the word: why do certain people get off on causing people harm? Why is social media - which Owens correctly referred to as an "absolute cesspool" - such a haven for pond life, who feel they can use it to say and do things they wouldn't have the guts to say or do in real life?

Why would you want to hound out the guy who, next to Satoshi Kojima and his love of bread, possesses the best social media game in all of wrestling?
