4. Kazuchika Okada: Literal RAINMAKER

Over the weekend, prime candidate for most badass wrestler - man - on the planet, Minoru Suzuki, celebrated his pro wrestling 30th anniversary, days after his 50th birthday, by doing a very Minoru Suzuki thing. He fought the best wrestler on the planet, Kazuchika Okada, in a 30-minute draw. In the pouring rain. And, afterwards, he cleaned up everybody's litter and demanded they did the same.

Wrestling Minoru Suzuki is a terrifying proposition in itself. The notion of slipping into his sadistic, catch submission game must have added an even more frightening element for those fans he allowed free entry (!) into his two-day "Great Pirate" (!) festival as, all the while, purely for the banter, he dyed his hair white and wore white trunks. If Suzuki wasn't already the absolute best, he took the microphone and perfected the role of motivational speaker by encouraging his young public to make their mark on the world by working hard. Brilliantly, he also b*llocked the "dispirited middle-aged guys" in the crowd because the world isn't going to "cut them a break".

An environmentalist, motivational speaker, philanthropist, absolute warlord: Minoru Suzuki is the best man alive.

As for the match itself, sadly, only photographs were recorded. But gauging by the milky, opaque liquid lashed all over Okada's face, we should see an at least ***** rating in next week's Observer.
