2. Becky Lynch Is The Best, Nia Jax Is The Worst

Becky Lynch is incredible. It genuinely feels like the stars have aligned to welcome her among their number.

Becky’s megastar aura intensifies by the week. This week, she led the women’s SmackDown locker room in an assault of the opposition. She drew first blood on Ronda Rousey, by attacking her backstage, before Nia bloody Jax drew blood from her courtesy of a wayward strike. According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, this was initially treated as a “that sucks, sh*t happens” situation. This sentiment soured when it became known that Lynch is now going to miss Survivor Series as a result of a broken face. That was WWE’s attempt to sex up the injury. They just got a bit confused; a broken face is basically everybody they try to get fans to cheer for.

But back to Becky: irrespective of the source, this was an incredible moment of badass ingenuity. She carried herself in the aftermath as a swaggering warlord as she conveyed to the crowd that a busted nose is nothing. She’s still the man.

It seems hysterical to state that this, echoing the Twitter sentiment, was Becky’s WrestleMania 13 moment…but is it? The Lass Kicker is on absolute fire. This feels like the start of something very, very special. The very depressing injury only underscores the parallel yet further. If in fact she recovers: there’s a distressing history there.

Beyond those Bayley and Ronda Rousey matches, this was the only good thing Nia Jax has ever done, and it was a potentially very harmful botch!
