5 Names You'll Never Hear In A WWE Ring Again

When Bret Hart returned to WWE in 2009, it showed that Vince could repair even the most bitter of relationships. From the Montreal Screwjob to the Accidental Death of Bret's brother Owen at WWE's Over the Edge PPV in 1999, Hart and Vince endured a complex and at times resentful rapport, but their reconciliation showed Vince to be capable of healing the most tempestuous of conflicts. In the case of Kevin 'Nailz' Wacholz, the same cannot be said. Kevin Wacholz was a performed as 'Kevin Kelly' in the AWA for ten years up to their closure where he joined WWE as ex-convict character 'Nailz' in 1992. He would last less than a year, feuding primarily with the Big Boss Man in programme that culminated in a 'Nightstick on a Pole' match at Survivor Series before briefly squaring off with the Undertaker before his now legendary departure in December the same year. As claimed by Wacholz in his autobiography, he took it upon himself to get into a physical altercation with boss Vince McMahon over a financial dispute. With the John 'the Berzerker' Nord standing guard, Wacholz cornered McMahon in his office and screamed at the company owner for fifteen minutes as well as throwing him around and choking the billionaire promoter. These claims were vouched for by Bret Hart who mentioned the incident in his own autobiography. Wacholz was released from his contract and later testified against McMahon during his trial for supplying steroids, claiming that Vince himself had encouraged Wacholz to take the drugs. His testimony would be discounted by the jury after Wacholz spoke on the record saying he 'hated Vince McMahon's guts'. Suffice to say, that while Vince can rebuild most relationships, this is one he cannot, and likely would not want to, repair.
