5 Positives And 5 Negatives Heading Into NXT TakeOver: Toronto

1. Positive — Samoa Joe’s Rampage

Shinsuke Nakamura Samoa Joe NXT Takeover Toronto
WWE

Unless your name happens to be William Regal or Shinsuke Nakamura, one of the most enjoyable parts of NXT programming in recent weeks has been the absolute rampage that a vengeful Samoa Joe has set out upon.

From his guttural demands to commissioner Regal that he bring him Nakamura or hand him “his” title, to his path of destruction that saw Nakamura himself, as well as a handful of other unlucky members of the NXT roster, taken out by the former champ—it’s made for some great television.

Given that Nakamura vs. Joe is of course a rematch of their previous meeting, this feud was in need of a little extra something to keep things fresh. And seeing Joe ramp up that intensity even higher has just about done that in my view.

I’m not usually a fan of rehashed main events from previous shows, but in the case of Joe and Nakamura, that’s one rematch I have zero objections to. Here's to high hopes for Saturday night's show!
