The Undertaker: 5 Reasons We Should Have Seen The End Of The Streak Coming

3. The Streak Mode In WWE 2K14

Wwe2k14thestreak Despite not being at the top of his game anymore, Vince McMahon does still plan ahead for his company. When WWE and 2K released WWE 2K14 last year, it included the 30 Years Of Wrestlemania mode in celebration for last night, but it also included a mode centred around The Streak. Now at the time, it was considered as a companion mode for 30 Years Of Wrestlemania, but is it entirely outside the realms of possibility that during that game's development, they were planning for The Streak to end this year? Think about it like this, WWE have never acknowledged The Streak in a game before now. It includes archived photographs, footage and match information on all of Undertaker's Wrestlemania opponents. It's a definitive compilation of his legacy. If he were to beat Brock Lesnar this year, it would have always been incomplete. But if they knew ahead of time that Undertaker's last victim would be CM Punk last year, then it becomes foreshadowing. It's one of the biggest clues we could have hoped for.
