5 Reasons Baron Corbin Is No Worthy WWE Champion Upgrade To Jinder Mahal

1. He Lacks The Uniqueness Of Jinder

WWE have a tour of India coming up this September, so it'd seem logical to keep the WWE Title on Mahal until those dates are over with. On that note, what unique selling point does Baron Corbin have to offer as WWE Champion that Jinder can't better? His Indian heritage represents something different for the belt.

Corbin would just be another heel champion, one not armed with the identity of Mahal. There shouldn't be a big rush from WWE's creative team to push Baron Corbin as champ until he has something to rival what Jinder is offering weekly. To change for the sake of it would be sheer madness.

Further, Baron wouldn't enhance ratings as champion in his current state. He requires a bit more seasoning in every aspect of his performance (from promos to in-ring work and character approach) before he's going to replace anyone in the title hot seat.

Corbin will be WWE Champion someday, but SummerSlam is just too soon.
