5 Reasons Dean Ambrose Is The Next Stone Cold Steve Austin

3. He's A Great Wrestler

Dean Ambrose is a great in-ring performer. Look no further than the list of matches he€™s put on in the WWE. He along with his Shield cohorts tore the house down when they competed in their debut match at TLC against Kane, Daniel Bryan and Ryback. Their six man matches from the on were legendary. They simply never put forth a bad performance as The Shield. More recently, Dean Ambrose has knocked our socks off by delivering the best Lumberjack Match of all time against Seth Rollins at Summerslam and followed it up by putting on an absolutely incredible showing against Seth Rollins the very next night on Raw in the main event. You can count the amount of bad WWE Dean Ambrose matches on one hand, and he€™s only gotten better each time he steps into the squared circle. Stone Cold had all the tools as far as charisma and characters, but if he wasn€™t able to put on a good match, it wouldn€™t have meant much at all. Stone Cold€™s in-ring style was similar to Ambrose€™s, in that they both like to brawl with their opponents, utilizing punishing strikes as opposed to technical holds (not that either couldn€™t be technicians when the match required them to be). Stone Cold€™s ability to put on a great show in the ring as well as outside it is what made him arguably the most popular superstar of all time. Dean Ambrose€™s ability to do just the same could very well lead him down a similar path.
