5 Reasons Why Last Night's WWE Raw Was The Best Of 2019

5. Samoan Summit Surprises Many

Heading into Monday, the Samoan Summit between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe sounded like the usual war of words between two rivals.

This couldn't have been further from the case however, as very little talking was actually done, thanks in part to Joe and The O.C. ambushing 'The Big Dog' and The Usos in a backstage attack prior to the Summit. From there, an all-out brawl ensued at ringside, with those six men brawling alongside Drew McIntyre and Cedric Alexander (so expect to see an eight man tag team match at some point).

Even this wasn't your typical Monday Night Raw segment though. Most brawls eventually end with one side gaining the upper hand, causing the other to retreat, but this one saw seven of the eight combatants involved fight to the top of the stage. The one man missing from the equation, Cedric Alexander, then dove off the stage setting on to everyone else below him. Proceedings came to an end in the ring with signature moves being dished out, as Reigns, Alexander, and The Usos stood tall.

The segment may have suffered a slight amount due to the Brock Lesnar/Seth Rollins brawl being more significant, but that's not to say this wasn't an awesome way to close out Raw. It made sense why these eight men were brawling with each other, and they all came away from it looking as strong as possible, particularly in Cedric's case.

More of this, please.
