5 Reasons Why The Time Is Right For Jeff Hardy To Return To WWE

2. Tag Team Nostalgia is The New Black

The Dudley Boyz recently returned to WWE TV, and whilst many were in favour of the return few would have imagined just how positive the response has been. It is almost as if they haven't been away, and they have farmed extra fuel into a reinvigorated tag team division.

Nostalgia is always a powerful tool in wrestling, and this was seen clearly with the return of Edge and Christian to WWE TV just a couple of weeks back, and the subsequent backstage segment with the Dudleyz.

The three-way feud between the Hardyz, the Dudleyz and E & C is considered the last great stand of tag team wrestling in WWE. I'm certainly not clamouring for return matches between the teams (the Hardyz and Dudleyz recently did battle in TNA) but both teams can undeniably do a lot for the current division in WWE.

Plus, how much fun would it be to see Titus O'Neill throwing Jeff Hardy around like a rag doll?

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
