1. NXT Has Proved That Female Wrestlers Can Steal The Show
One of the main reasons WWE fans were so happy to get behind the #GiveDivasAChance campaign was the fact that the female wrestlers in NXT were showing week after week the kind of exciting matches and storylines they could produce when given the chance. More recently though theyve started going a step further and showing that they are more than capable of stealing the show at the bigger NXT TakeOver events and have even started to feature in main event matches. In the co-main event at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in August, Bayley defeated Sasha Banks to win her first ever NXT Womens Championship in a match that received rave reviews. Then last week at NXT TakeOver: Respect in a title rematch the pair put on yet another impressive display in the WWEs first ever 30-minute Iron Woman match. And its not just Bayley and Sasha Banks who have impressed in NXT, with current Divas champion Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Paige all having displayed impressive in-ring skills that are potentially worthy of main event status. So if the WWE are really serious about giving Divas a chance then why not give them the opportunity to show that they can steal the show at a main roster pay-per-view event by letting the co-main event at the Royal Rumble be the first ever Divas Rumble match.
