Vince McMahon tried his best to push AOP to the top of the RAW tag team division. Unfortunately, Akam and Rezar did not have the luck by their side. Their run on the main roster received multiple interruptions because of injuries. Earlier, the creative team aligned them with Drake Maverick. The duo even captured the premier crowns of the red brand's two-on-two wrestling section and followed it up with a victory over The Bar at Survivor Series.

However, Akam picked up a leg injury in January, which forced the company to alter its plans. The tag team made a comeback with a new gimmick and helped Seth Rollins ascend to the top of the flagship show. As soon as they started to gain some momentum, Rezar suffered a bicep injury.

The duo found itself off the TV once again, and the organization may not trust them again. McMahon invested so much time in building them up as a devastating unit, yet their injuries ensured that the hard work went in vain.

It will not be wrong to state that AOP's failures have led to the crash of RAW's two-on-two wrestling department.
