6. Worried - Dominik Mysterio
This one is going to seem a little harsh, but the fact is, Dominik has been on the roster for three years now and his progress has been minimal.
Yes, he has a nice little gig alongside his father, Rey, but it feels more like a hindrance to what Rey Mysterio could still offer the product as opposed to an opportunity for Dominik to get better.
He doesn’t look like a wrestler, and whilst this writer doesn’t believe that all wrestlers need to look like Bobby Lashley, they should still look a little larger than life. He also doesn’t move like a wrestler and although the father/son 619 is a nice spot, you get the feeling that Dominik would be showing a lot more if he was going to make it.
Perhaps a move down to 2.0 would be a good move for the young man? Whilst moving away from an in-built family legacy absolutely destroyed Curtis Axel, Dominik is hardly taking the Mysterio legacy and running with it.
Triple H pins a lot of respect onto legends, and Rey certainly is one. It’s not hard to see the fourteen-time World Champion moving Rey away from his son and letting the legend have one more run while he still can. Sorry, Dominik.
