5 Things AEW MUST Do In 2021 (And 5 They Must Avoid)

Putting the AEW World Title on Sting in 2021? That's not Dynamite...

An eventful first full year of operations brought triumph and tragedy to All Elite Wrestling, a promotion that has already weathered more storms than one would expect in a lifespan ten times as long.

2020's end changed AEW's tone forever. Brodie Lee's passing means things will never be the same on Dynamite, and nor should they be. A 41-year-old father, husband, and professional wrestler beloved by his fans and peers universally, his Celebration of Life was as beautiful as it was gutwrenching. May AEW continue to honour his legacy throughout this new year, whether that means a simple "it's Wednesday, you know what that means" each week, realigning The Dark Order, or more. Either way, the group will keep doing right by the Huber family.

In business terms, AEW and TNT must be pleased with how things have done in this pandemic-stricken world. Gates are down, depriving Tony Khan's company of an important revenue stream, but with Dynamite beating WWE NXT in every single week of the Wednesday Night Wars, pay-per-view buyrates staying steady, and buzz peaking with Sting's debut in early December, things could be a lot worse.

Things are trending in the right direction as AEW strides into what looks like another difficult year. Here's how they can keep it that way...
