5 Things AEW Must Steal From WCW (And 5 It Shouldn’t!)

1. No: A Tony Khan World Title Reign

"Tony Khan has a special announcement" has become meme-worthy. It'd be unfair to say the AEW boss is desperate to push himself onto television, but his appearances have become more frequent over the years since All Elite started. Shivers will go up spines when imagining what could be coming next.

Yes, our Tony could feasibly become AEW World Champion.

If that sounds ridiculous, then examine wrestling's past. Vince Russo held the WCW World belt, and even Vince McMahon had a stupidly-short reign as WWF Champ before that. Khan shockingly winning AEW's top prize is not something anybody should rule out with confidence, 'cause pro wrestling is wild.

It shouldn't happen though. In fact, TK winning gold would be worse than either Russo or McMahon. One was an established onscreen heel, and the other (McMahon) was someone who'd shown his worth in various matches.

Please don't do this, Tony!
