5 Things AEW Must Steal From WCW (And 5 It Shouldn’t!)

8. Yes: Smarter Celebrity Involvement

AEW has hooked up with celebs like Mike Tyson, Shaquille O'Neal, Snoop Dogg and the cast of Impractical Jokers (to name a few), but they're trailing behind WWE when it comes to celebrity involvement. Bad Bunny and Logan Paul, for example, have both contributed massively to McMahon family coffers.

This is definitely something All Elite could be better at.

WCW received a ton of mainstream press when bad boy NBA star Dennis Rodman became an honorary member of the nWo. Hell, they've even had people talking for 23 years about actor David Arquette winning the World Title. Sure, fans laugh at that, but they're still talking.

Not one of AEW's celeb appearances has made anything close to the same impact. If you're going to use famous folks from outside the pro wrestling biz at all, then at least make sure they leave a mark. Who's going to recall JAS beating up the Impractical Jokers 20 years from now?
