5 Things That Need To Happen At WWE Money In The Bank 2018
4. Let Roman vs Jinder Go Under The Radar
Roman Reigns is a good wrestler, and he has some really good matches. Jinder Mahal is a good heel who… is a good heel.
However they are both the absolute poster boys for everything people currently dislike about WWE. Roman symbolises the company’s own pig-headedness to push their creative vision on a disinterested fanbase, and Jinder represents their raging hard on for weird inconsistent booking.
I’m not some New Japan superfan but still, to see WWE tweeting that Jinder has accepted The Big Dog’s challenge for the main event of Raw, mere hours after Omega Okada had what might go down as the best wrestling match ever, just summed up everything didn’t it?
Now, look, that’s just the storyline they’re doing and it is absolutely not Roman or Jinder’s respective fault they position they’re now in, but people are going to focus in on this. They’re the hate figures, and thus anyone look to hate on the show, is going to look at them.
So just, give them 10 minutes, smack bang in the middle of the card, and let them throw something entertaining together. Then just move on, wherever it is they’re both going, let them go there.
