5 Things We Learned From Triple H's WWE NXT: Takeover London Conference Call

4. Triple H Wants NXT To Stay On The WWE Network

Several journalists on the call brought up the stale 3 hour RAW format and the COO was asked about making the first hour of RAW an NXT exclusive show, cutting RAW to two hours, and even using the third hour on a different night on an NBC channel to air NXT. Each time Levesque was asked about it, he seemed keen to keep his brand on the Network. He talked about The Sopranos being on a pay channel and it not hurting their success. He called NXT €œepisodic programming€ that makes people want to stick with the WWE Network. The buzz of the brand and expansion of it was brought up several times throughout the call and Triple H maintained that he felt the show being on the Network was helping the buzz and helping both the NXT brand as well as getting more people to check out the Network just to see what€™s going on with it. Ever the company man, The Authority leader did however state that if WWE made the decision to move NXT to a TV channel, he would fully support the decision and help it grow.
