The 'Panama City Playboy' recently made his presence felt at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn before SummerSlam, and after attacking Drew McIntyre, he's no doubt on the fast track to the main event.

For Ring of Honor fans, this is no surprise. He can wrestle, he can talk, he can work a crowd, and he's the only three-time World Champion in the promotion's history. He's tailor-made for WWE.

For PWG fans, it's even less of a surprise, as Cole conquered BOLA in 2012 and continued to be a fixture of the main event scene in Reseda for years to come.

He debuted in 2011 alongside Kyle O'Reilly as part of the team Future Shock and spent nearly a year battling for tag team gold unsuccessfully. The Battle of Los Angeles 2012 was his coming out party as a singles performer and a PWG mainstay, as he defeated El Generico, Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan, and Michael Elgin en route to tournament glory.

He went on to win the PWG World Championship and defend it in true Asuka-like fashion, setting a still-unbroken record as champion for 538 days.
