"Once In A Lifetime".

Those words would come back to haunt WWE in 2013. Wait a minute though, it was John Cena who won this rematch against The Rock at 'Mania 29. How can that be a let down? Well, it was a match few wanted to see again after the in-ring struggles one year before; Cena vs. Rock II was only marginally better than the 'Mania XXVIII original.

In other words, it wasn't worthwhile.

Epic rematches like Steve Austin vs. The Rock, The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels and even Triple H vs. 'Taker have been a core selling point for WrestleMania cards over the years. WWE tried to mimic those with The Rock and John Cena, but there was never the same demand for a repeat like there had been for others. Somehow, they failed to spot that.

"Twice In A Lifetime", the obvious joke on social media, was flat out ignored by WWE. It was almost like they were happy to pretend the first match had never happened.
