5 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Rampage (Dec 8 - Results & Review)

4. This Could Work

Julia Hart Abadon
AEW

Bring on all the supernatural shenanigans between Julia Hart and Abadon.

Of course, knowing AEW, the company will go the one-and-done route with this duo instead. Hopefully not, 'cause that'd be a complete and utter waste of a story that could (in theory) tick along nicely for at least a couple of months. In other words, this must be a fully-fleshed out rivalry that hits pay-per-view.

AEW is going heavy on the dramatic for both women's belts, and that's a good thing. Toni Storm has been smashing it as Women's Champion, and Julia feels like a better fit for the TBS belt than Kris Statlander ever was. Now, hopefully, she has some interesting foil to bounce off of.

Hart and Abadon worked a cool face to face on Rampage. The latter treating that TBS prize like Gollum with his "precious" is something Tony Khan should develop in coming weeks. Please, please, please say this won't be stuck on some random episode of Collision that nobody remembers.

It deserves better. This was a promising start.
