5 Ups & 0 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 8)

3. If You Want Blood, You Got It!

Ricky Starks Powerhouse Hobbs Hook

Or, to quote another AC/DC song title, "Who Made Who?".

Here, the answer to that question would be Brian Cage making Ricky Starks. The big muscle man did everything in his power to make his old Team Taz cohort look like a sneaky heel FTW Champion who'd do anything to hold onto that prize. In return, Ricky bumped like a madman for big Bri.

Rampage's headliner was a weapons-based brawl which fit the rivalry Starks and Cage have been working. Taz, the leader of this splintered duo, was on top form behind the commentary desk, and both Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook ran in to save the day for Ricky. The end result was a perfectly acceptable, and slightly bloody, fight.

Fans should expect All Elite to revisit the fact that it took three men to take down Cage too. Though this feud has been running for a while now, they can easily stretch this out until Full Gear next month. If so, then Tony Khan must give these men another stipulation to work with - they've earned that platform.
