5 Ups & 1 Down From AEW Dark (Jun 2)

2. This Whole Deal

The new storyline positioning Allie as a potential wedge between QT Marshall and the rest of the Nightmare Family is going well, and was developed in several different ways last night.

The first was an interview segment that began without Marshall who then rolled up in a convertible that Allie had convinced him to buy, even though he couldn't really afford it, leading to Brandi asking QT if he thought 'The Bunny' was really into him. Then came the Natural Nightmares vs. Peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler. A solid little main event, it was driven more by story than anything else, with both key storylines coming into play. Allie was on commentary and acted as a distraction throughout, constantly talking Marshall up, then totally dodging a question on what happened with her and The Butcher and the Blade.

Afterwards, QT credited Allie with the win, handed Brandi a half-eaten apple, and said they were off to celebrate.

Allie is leading Marshall (whom she has turned vegan) astray here. It's a ploy by her, The Butcher, and The Blade, and the only person who can't see it is QT, who looks absolutely smitten.
