5 Ups & 1 Down From Last Night's WWE NXT (Feb 21)

Ups...

5. The Dusty Classic

William Regal announced the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic's return last night. Granted, those who read spoilers were already privy to this information, but it's exciting nonetheless, and the upcoming incarnation looks great.

NXT's tag scene is bursting at the seams right now. Along with established units like the Authors Of Pain and Sanity, they've got comeback kings TM-61, up-and-comers like Heavy Machinery and Street Profits, and newcomers War Machine. There are dozens of potentially exciting bouts within that group, and if it's booked half as well as the past couple of tournaments, it should result in some great television.

The segment itself was short and simple, with Regal delivering his words backstage. It'll commence in two weeks time, and the winners challenging for the Undisputed Era's Tag Team Championships at TakeOver: New Orleans. Afterwards, Mauro Ranallo teased AoP, TM-61, Street Profits, and Heavy Machinery as entrants, though none were officially confirmed.

A minor Up, but an Up nonetheless, we look forward to NXT's latest tag team competition.
