The Undisputed Era had already laughed off an enraged Nikki Cross in another brilliant exhibition of a*seholery before Roderick Strong and Aleister Black afforded General Manager William Regal a spontaneous main event in the absence of the former tag team champions.

The resultant main event was a blinding display from both sides, arguably stolen yet again by megastar-in-waiting Adam Cole as Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly's run-in buddy. Bailing from Black to drag him away from the task at hand, Cole's involvement was the difference-maker as the explosive Strong was left exposed to Total Elimination.

The Era's post-match destruction of Black fed well into Cole's ongoing irritation with Black Mass maestro and a possible TakeOver show-stealer.
