5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

Liv Morgan

Oh, poor Liv Morgan, sent out there to (metaphorically) die.

Becky Lynch delivered an absolutely scathing babyface promo on Charlotte Flair Monday night (more on that later), which got her over as the biggest heroine in the promotion. But then Liv interrupted and timidly apologized for cutting her off. This led to a verbal joust that more resembled an all-star sparring with a bench player.

The worst part came when Morgan had the temerity to claim she was speaking “on behalf of the entire WWE universe” and then pause for a reaction – which barely registered. Yep, they sent Liv out there to get into a back-and-forth with Becky after a white-hot promo that got fans solidly in her corner, and asked Morgan to profess she spoke for the crowd.

And just to go full lazy writer cliché, Liv delivered a line any of us could come up with after headbutting a wall while drunk 20 times: “Big Time Becks is just a big-time b*tch!” Oooh, how original and clever!

If you wanted Morgan to get over as a serious challenger, then don’t send her out there and ask Becky to go from babyface in a Survivor Series promo to heel in a Raw feud in the same segment.
