10. Movie Night On Raw

Ah yes, you can always tell when the writers think they’ve found something clever and go all-in on a bad joke.

AJ Styles and Omos were asked backstage about the Dirty Dawgs, which led to a discussion about the rest of the tag division. First, AJ didn’t understand what “we want the smoke” means and suggested they use a Duralog to light a fire. (Lame.)

But it really went off the rails when Styles brought up The Avengers. He referenced Loki and said he had an army, but AJ has Omos (ooookay…) and that must make him Iron Man. **Insert confused meme here**

That really made no sense whatsoever, especially when they could have just as easily compared Omos to Thanos or Hulk (if they wanted to hint at a babyface turn). But “Loki has an army, I have an Omos”? Who writes this crap?

Not to be outdone, the Dirty Dawgs made a hip cultural reference to the timeless 1988 film Twins, which came out six years before Omos was born. Yeesh.
