5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

7. Brock Now A Pawn?

Remember way back when Brock Lesnar murdered Adam Pearce on SmackDown, leading to him getting suspended indefinitely and fined $1 million?

Yeah, Pearce apparently doesn’t.

Monday night, Adam was having a chat with Big E about how he needs to focus on Roman Reigns at Survivor Series, and he instructed the WWE Champion not to go to ringside for the match between Finn Balor and Kevin Owens. Rather than just tell him that was an order or threaten a fine, he threatened E with two words: Brock Lesnar.

So Brock is now a pawn for Pearce to deploy whenever he needs it? Sure, if we’re supposed to accept Pearce as a heel now, it might make sense, except for the fact Lesnar obliterated him just a couple weeks ago. And it’s not like Big E was being a defiant jerk who warranted that threat.

It was just a ham-fisted way to mention Brock on WWE TV again, and it was pointless.
