6. Fear The Doudrop

Looks like we have our new monster heel in the women’s division after Nia Jax was canned: DOUDROP.

Fear her upbeat, happy entrance song and bright, colorful Titantron screen! Tremble at the mention of her name! Recoil at the sight of her spirit fingers!

In all seriousness, if there ever was an opportunity to reboot Piper Niven as a killer in the women’s division, this was it. A 45-second promo about how she was handed this stupid moniker and then tried to make something out of it, but the only way to get ahead is to be herself and to stomp fools would have done the trick. She could have walked out clad in dark clothes to no entrance music, rechristened herself Piper and she would have instantly been 20 times cooler and more impactful.

Instead, we got the same crappy music, and then after cutting her promo at Bianca Belair, Doudrop flashed the spirit fingers at her – and not in the Scott Hall feigned fear manner. Just a wasted opportunity.
