5 Ups & 10 Downs From WWE Raw (Nov 15)

3. Rollins Leads Raw, Attacks Raw

Want a perfect example of how stupid and utterly pointless the Survivor Series brand warfare concept is? Look no further than Seth Rollins.

Rollins was on commentary during the abridged tag match pitting Big E and Riddle against the Usos. Seth talked up how he was leading Team Raw into the PPV and wanted to lead the red brand to victory. Moments later, Rollins dove into the ring and attacked Big E and Riddle – two Raw guys – and then teamed up with the Usos – two SmackDown guys – to fight in a six-man tag match.

If Rollins cared about the battle between Raw and SmackDown, why is he actively helping the blue brand wrestlers attack guys on his “team” in a series of matches at Survivor Series? It makes no sense – other than to just shrug and say, “Well, he’s a heel, so of course he contradicts himself.”

LAME.
