5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 3 - Results & Review)

1. Some Full Gear Tune Up

The best matches/segments achieve multiple goals.

On Rampage, The Gunns got a neat tune-up win for MJF at Full Gear by beating Christopher Daniels and Matt Sydal. Further, AEW even handed the brothers some post-match mic time to sell what kind of roll Bullet Club Gold is on right now. Jay White also had Friedman's World Title over his shoulder throughout.

The way White repeatedly referred to himself as the real champ, and how The Gunns mocked MJF's kangaroo kick (they've become every bit as good at playing smug little pr*cks as Max was/is), was fantastic. Simply seeing BCG on Rampage gave the show more credibility, and that speaks to what they've been doing on other programs like Dynamite or Collision.

Tony Khan must keep revolving bigger acts in and out of Rampage like this. It was cool to see the World Title featured (even if the official champion wasn't), and it was magic to see some proper pay-per-view hype on the 'C' show too.
