5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 15)
1. He Who Hits Hardest
Take a bow, Bryan Danielson and Minoru Suzuki. No, seriously, take a bow and revel in the praise that's already firing at you both from all angles on social media. It's richly deserved, because that 'Buy In' clash was the hard-hitting war of attrition that everybody hoped it would be.
Miami's hardcore throngs loved every second of this, and rightly so.
This was the kind of match Bryan left WWE behind for, and there's no way he was disappointed by the results here. Sure, Danielson was always going to come out on the winning end (so the match maybe lacked a little pre-game drama), but that's OK. Suzuki is one of the most believable tough nuts in wrestling, so he can take the loss too.
Minoru's lack of fear shone through during the match, and Bryan's never-say-die attitude came to the fore. That's something even more casual WWE fans must know and love by now. It's an addictive feeling to watch Danielson wrestle, especially when he's turned on by a killer opponent.
Go out of your way to see him do so opposite Suzuki.
