5 Ups & 2 Downs From AEW Rampage (Sep 10)

2. PPV Quality

Andrade El Idolo PAC
AEW

PAC and Andrade El Idolo should be proud of this one.

Rampage has had some seriously good matches during its first month. Christian Cage vs. Kenny Omega for the Impact Title was a belter on the debut episode, and Lucha Bros vs. Jurassic Express in the tag eliminator was similarly fun. Amazingly, PAC vs. El Idolo might have both licked.

Both men looked like they had something to prove here. They cannot have been thrilled to have been left off the All Out card (regardless of the reasons behind that), and it seemed like that lit a fire. PAC was his usual on-point self, and Andrade was back to those NXT TakeOver glories of old. He never really got to show this quality on WWE's main roster, did he?

Spots to look out for when watching include Andrade's spectacular spinning corkscrew splash to the outside, and PAC's underrated belly-to-belly suplex. This was a really good match, and it's one AEW must do on pay-per-view next year. Why not?
