5 Ups & 2 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Oct 25)

Ups...

5. Everyone Gets To Shine

Despite being a singles match between Sami Callihan and Trevor Lee, the opener to this week's Impact had a lot of outside participation. The Crist brothers at ringside, Scarlett Bordeaux being on-stage, and Brian Cage decimating oVe post-match.

In situations such as this, it's rare to see everyone getting the chance to shine. Yes, even Trevor Lee did enough to look as if he belonged here, which is no wrongdoing by him but rather his booking as of late. It managed to continue the new rivalry between Callihan and Cage also, which will be a banger of a match when it comes time for it. But perhaps the most interesting development here is Scarlett, who proved to be quite a distraction for Dave Crist.

If this is what Dave goes on to do next, it's perfect. Since having his head shaved, he hasn't been the same. In the ring, he's still as cold and calculated as he was before but mentally, he was a changed man. This will be an interesting story to see play out over the next few weeks. Let's face it - the thing with Scarlett looking for clients can't go on forever.
