Literally, as far as the kendo stick swing goes.

This segment was veering towards 'Up' territory before Michin was revealed as Chelsea Green's first challenger. Look, that's not meant as some cruel dismissal of Mia Yim as a worker. It's just, well...we've been there, done that with Chelsea vs. Michin, surely. Their rivalry should've been a closed book once Green won the Women's United States Title back at Saturday Night's Main Event, at least for now.

Instead, WWE has decided to keep it going after the fact and book Michin as Chelsea's first challenger. There was no need. Going with Bayley (or someone of that higher stature) would've been a better call, and the complete lack of live crowd interest in everything once Michin came out with a weapon proves it. She just isn't quite clicking. Something's missing.

Green deserved something bigger than retreading old ground now she's champ, to be honest. Sure, the Women's US Title is meant for those outside the top title conversation, but that shouldn't mean WWE's writers had to pick the blandest option imaginable. Again, a higher profile star like Bayley would've made it feel like Green was taking a step up as a member of the division. Another one.

Alternatively, going with someone totally new (B-FAB?) might've been a hoot. There's just nothing new to explore with Michin going after Chelsea. They don't like one another and have totally different personalities. We get it. Sheesh, fingers crossed this isn't something that drags on and on, because Green's title reign needs to start with a bang.
