5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dark (Jun 30)

3. Scorpio Sky vs. Brady Pierce

If Scorpio Sky's new entrance theme had its own entry than it would comfortably be the biggest Up of the night. Holy sh*t, what a banger. Coming up with it was a smart move too, as it helps signify that Sky is indeed striking out on his own while Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels focus on tag team wrestling, strengthening SoCal Uncensored's not-split.

Brady Piece and his fabulous teeth and shiny boots entered a sold sh*t-eating performance, breaking Sky's early amateur wrestling with sheer douchebaggery. A faster-paced, strike-heavy battle unfolded thereafter, though Pierce left his offensive spell bleeding from the mouth, eating a slingshot cutter for the loss soon after.

Another effective singles showcase for Sky. It won't be long before he's a legitimate contender again; we look forward to seeing it.
