Speaking of a tad amateurish, that green-screened studio setup simply has to go. There's an element of tongue-in-cheek retro chic to Tony Schiavone and new regular broadcast partner Dasha Gonzalez peculiarly floating on a digital soundstage, but this isn't NWA Powerrr, and the low-rent CGI jars strikingly with the rest of AEW's slick production - not to mention the match graphics shown during these very segments.

During the Control Center run down, Gonzalez wasn't even in focus, which is fairly unforgivable. Sure, a green-screen is a cheap production trick, and crucially, it's easy to relocate to whichever town AEW are gracing. But can't a company as well funded as this one afford a more permanent, tangible and above all else, less naff set-up?

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
