5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (December 6 - Results & Review)

Downs...

3. The Roderick Strong Voice

Roderick Strong stood up in a live segment. That's nice. AEW has finally dropped the fake wheelchair gimmick that made a mockery of every character who even flirted with believing it.

In worse news, Roderick Strong now enunciates every name as he does "AD-AM!" Why?

Roddy said "Adam" in that way because he was desperate for Cole's time and affection. The delivery conveyed the needy side of his character. What does Strong need from Samoa Joe? Or Dasha Gonzalez? Nothing: he's just a caricature who has to talk in that voice all the time, for some reason. It's stupid. It's obnoxious. It literally makes no sense.

But he's wrestling Hangman Page shortly, so that's good.
