5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 4)

1. A Disappointing Main Event

Ethan Page Christian Cage

Christian Cage is one of the craftiest veterans in the biz these days, and Ethan Page's future is brighter than some of Chris Jericho's jackets. Together, the pair should've been able to light up Rampage's main event and send the show home with a bang.

It didn't happen.

There was never really the sense that Page was going to beat Cage and stamp his mark on Sunday's 'Face Of The Revolution' ladder bout. The tag-teamer looked every bit like someone who was out of his depth for 90% of the match, which was pretty baffling formatting.

It was rather obvious who was winning before the bell had even stopped ringing to kick things off, which wasn't ideal. Some may disagree, but this writer was left a touch disappointed by what he saw here. He was anticipating a total banger.
