5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Mar 4)

1. What A Triple Threat

Minor grumble about Darby not trying to win when he had the chance aside, that opening Triple Threat was blistering. Everyone involved got to look good, and it was non-stop action. Total non-stop action, one might say. Special mention must go to El Idolo too, because he's been superb in-ring.

Hopefully, he'll breakout of this midcard rut he's been in after Revolution. If so, then he can point to matches like this as a springboard for better things to come. Christ, AEW's talent pool is deep, but Andrade has all the tools to become a major player in main events later this year.

So do Allin and Guevara, to be fair. Both young lions have been on a tear for a while now, and they rarely produce matches that dip below the 'that was very good' mark on the quality scale. Go out of your way to see CM Punk's promo, but stick this killer three-way on first to get you in the mood.

You'll be glad you did.
