5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 13 - Results & Review)

Downs...

3. The Downside

Skye Blue
AEW

Skye Blue came out for her match vs. Emi Sakura wearing darker makeup and with a stern expression. The typically-smiling babyface didn't flash grins at the fans or do much smiling at all. The commentators mentioned that, and it'll tie into a broader story involving Julia Hart soon enough.

Just one problem: The actual match didn't do much to exhibit change in Skye.

It would've been lovely to see a bit more aggression from her during that bout vs. Sakura. Paul Wight even mentioned that Blue seems more intense since clashing with Julia, but then the match started and Emi dominated 90% of the thing. That was certainly a choice, and a poor one.

There is an upside to all of this that'll be examined in the 'Ups', don't worry. Think of this as a slight negative, but still very much a negative. Someone experienced should've had a word in Skye's ear and told her to mix things up a little to complement the moody facials and makeup.
