2. The McIntyre Show Continues

Drew McIntyre seems to be on a quest to make his character the most three-dimensional, well-rounded, complicated character in recent wrestling history.

Rather than being a paper-thin heel who just believes he’s been wronged, Drew took it a step further Monday night in a promo with Seth Rollins, where the Scottish Warrior talked about the sacrifices he’s made living abroad from family and friends, missing weddings, funerals and everything in between. He heaped value onto the title by saying he needed it for validation of those sacrifices and added that he would do whatever it takes to win the championship.

Rollins, who last week cut through CM Punk for his potentially two-faced babyface promo, called out McIntyre as possibly being disingenuous himself, then told Drew to take responsibility for his actions before saying he pities the Scot, which triggered a brawl between the two.

McIntyre’s run as the most interesting man on Raw has been fun to follow these past few months, right down to him praising Rollins for being a leader and calling out Punk for his hypocrisy last week. He very clearly has a lot of depth, which makes him really fun to watch and analyze each week.
