5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (4 Oct - Results & Review)
4. The Dumpster Gimmick Does Heavy Lifting
Michin and Chelsea Green have worked super-hard to make something of their mini-feud. Unfortunately, WWE didn't really meet them halfway before Friday's 'Dumpster Match' suddenly popped into view. Creative should count their blessings that both women were right up for it, and that they've got someone who excels in comedy spots like Green.
She's happy to clown herself for everyone's entertainment. What a woman.
The 'Dumpster' bout was a fine midcard sideshow that ticked the box on laughs and drama. Michin looked good here, but it remains to be seen whether or not Triple H will continue pushing her or if she'll be able to properly connect with the audience. Being brutally honest, she hasn't thus far; not without someone like Bayley by her side.
This match definitely deserves an 'up' for effort and entertainment, right enough. Chelsea's agonised facials proved to be a highlight, and there was enough from Piper Niven around ringside to keep things interesting. Michin fought back against the numbers to score the win and keep her busy.
