5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 12 - Results & Review)

Downs...

3. Pick His Presentation, Please!

Bron Breakker Cameron Grimes

Bron Breakker's presentation is a little all over the shop right now.

He's selling for dudes like Axiom and Nathan Frazer on NXT, but running through fools like his surname is Goldberg on the main roster. WWE should pick a direction soon and bloody stick to it. Pretty please? It'd be nice to know whether or not Baron Corbin is coming along for the ride too, or if that NXT team is now history.

You've got to feel a bit sorry for Cameron Grimes as well. He acts as a warning of how badly things can go wrong for NXT wrestlers coming up to Raw or SmackDown in the Draft. Honestly, what was the f'n point of promoting Grimes in the first place? Triple H doesn't get everything right after all.

There's nothing awful about having Breakker mow down a couple of wrestlers here or there, but squashes like this shouldn't be accepted as a substitute for meaningful character development or direction. There are only so many squashes fans can see before they crave something deeper.
