WWE don't seem to know what they have in Alpha Academy. Chad Gable and Otis have been great for one another as a team, and they should get a crack at the SmackDown Tag-Team gold before splitting. It's just a pity that The Usos, who are also heels, are in the title hot seat right now.

Hence why The Street Profits are being lined up as new contenders.

Sure, it's ever-so-slightly dull to see The Profits back in the title mix yet again, but it's also hard to argue against matches this solid. The quartet worked well with what little time they had, and Otis was protected when Gable took the fall. This was a neat story that gave the faces revenge for all those prior attacks.

Special mention must go to Montez Ford for his dazzling acrobatics. They really light up Profits' matches, and it's clear he's a breakout singles star waiting to happen in the long run. This, for what it was, was a nice little tag match that followed Nakamura's title win with gusto.
