5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Aug 13)

4. Dominik’s Back On Track

The same could be said for another tag bout.

Dominik Mysterio has been getting cocky as of late - that led to he and Rey losing the SmackDown Tag Titles, and it's become his most identifiable characteristic. He's young, inexperienced and keeps making rookie mistakes. It's a bit odd to tack that story on post-title run, but whatever.

WWE got things back on track this past Friday. Rey and Dom beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, and they were even booked to do so in spite of The Usos. Jimmy and Jey showed up on the tron to try and distract Dominik, but daddy dearest got his head back in the game and Dom picked up the win.

GO TEAM!

Seriously though, this was good stuff. It would've been a nightmare had The Mysterio's dropped to 'dem Dirty Dawgs in a random tag effort here. Nobody needs to see the father/son combo roll into SummerSlam next week without any momentum.
